Hi everyone. My name is Jenn, and I'm addicted to Scramble.
I think I may have a problem. Last night as I lay in bed, I saw Scramble boards, and envisioned words. Words I can never find when actually PLAYING the game, mind you, but good, high-scoring words, nonetheless. The joy of Scramble is that you don't have to be good to be addicted. You keep playing (just 'one more board', then I'll quit, really) trying to beat your last score.
What is Scramble? For those of you not on Facebook, it's a fabulous game of word findingness. Yes, findingness. (We'll talk about my Facebook addiction another day.) See, if I were allowed to use my own made up words on scramble, I would rock. I'd be the Queen of Scramble. Unfortunately, the Scramble dictionary only has OTHER PEOPLE'S made up words.
I'll give you some examples: Tawie. Muon. Oot. Really? Really, Scramble Maker-Uppers? We can have those words, but not 'dane'? Ah, if I were Queen of Scramble, things would be different.
But back to my addiction. I know there's a problem when Hubba Hubba notices I'm doing something a lot. As busy as that poor boy is (2 weeks til graduation--woo hoo!) he should NOT be noticing how often I play Scramble. That means that every time he sees me, I must be furiously typing away, trying to see if the Scramble Dictionary from On High will accept 'dane' as a word.
Maybe there's a meeting somewhere I can go to.
